CSS & IE Problem
Hi Guys!
Need some help - *obvious* Basically, this CSS layout works in Opera, Netscape, FireFox and Safari but it doesn't work in IE. The right column gets put below the main content area. I adjusted the widths and if I change the main content area to 450px wide, then it shows perfectly in IE but it looks wrong in the other 4 browsers. I don't know why and I don't know how to get round this. I'm relatively new to CSS for layout and am not sure at all how to fix it so it shows right in all browsers. Any help would be really really appreciated! You can find the page in all its glory here: www.ritesolutions.co.uk/carlton |

I think it has to do with IE's rendering engine. I think you will have to do some juggling to get it work. Or from what I heard. You can use Javascript for the CSS. When it detects IE it shots the IE CSS and if other then use other.css. Thats what I heard. I can't verify it

I would suggest designing your page for Firefox first. This will make it look right in most browsers. You can then use IE Conditional Comments to fix your site for IE.
