Does anyone know of any good web design packages i am currently using dreamweaver. Is this one of the best to use? Also how do you get the drop down menus at the top of the site and actually look good. I want the ones which do not look as though they drop down but when you hover over them they drop down.
Thanks |

Dreamweaver is one of the better packages, but in my view it can be quite complicated if your new to designing web pages. There are many others on the market, including Microsoft Frontpage 2003 which I reckon is a much improved packages compared to the 2002 and 2000 versions.
As for the drop down menus, you'll need to use DHTML to get that sort of effect. Take a look here for examples of drop down menus - www.dynamicdrive.com/.

NEVER use JavaScript powered, or generated, drop-down menus... they're invalid, inaccessible, slow, unweidly, and cannot be read by search engines
Use suckerfish instead: http://www.alistapart.com/articles/dropdowns |
