I need some clarification, I have a split Access database on a shared drive that will only support about a dozen concurrent users because my company won't spend the money for Microsoft SQL. I need to make all of the info in this db available to about 100 users at any given time. I'm thinking that if I use Frontpage it could solve my problem, but I have no real experience with it. Could someone tell me if using frontpage as the front end and my Access tables as the back end will be feasable, and will it allow all of the necessary users concurrently? Thanks

If you are using the db as an internal business tool then routing access to it through a browser isn't really going to help you much. Frontpage isn't going to help you in any meaningful way. With a budget restricted company you can always suggest migrating to MySQL - it's free, powerful and a step in the right direction.

I hopped on a forum page that had some comments about MySQL. Some postings said it was free, some said there were "hidden" charges, does anyone know if there is any truth to this? I also checked out Ocelot SQL, has anyone had any dealings with this? Any help would be appreciated in helping me decide which would be the best route to take. Thanks

There is also SQL Server 2005, which is now freeware for the "Express Edition" which doesn't have any of the arbitrary restrictions of MSDE, it's worth looking into.
