Hyperlinks in a web page header
I've found plenty of tutorials on how to create a webpage header using photoshop and how to create buttons on the headers for menu items but how do you assign the hyperlinks to them? I know how to assign a hyperlink to a single image but not to a webpage header that may have multiple menu items.
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks! |

You should try using individual images for each of your "buttons"
This way you can create a normal version, a roll-over version and an active version, and display them according to the page your are on, or the position of the mouse in relation to the button on the page. To get started it would be best to "draw" your "nav bar" in your graphics program of choice - personally i use Adobe Fireworks or PhotoShop. Then you would "cut" that image up into the individual button, and then insert the code to display them into your HTML code in place of the standard text within you link tags. Hope this helps.
