Layout Slices.

Hello,
Just wondering if somebody could help me with a little problem i have

I have created a layout and sliced it but when i preview my website in the browser and select some text i can also select the individual slices i made in ImageReady. Is there a specific way to prevent this so that the slices are un-highlightable lol.

Thanks,
Evo

you need to think about your design, try and use colour for area of colour and not a colour image, if they have effects slice just them bits and then dont use tables use divs and set images as background images.

the only reason you should really ever need to use imageready etc to slice web sites is for a header, that you then use as one block, if you have shadows etc, then you only need a tiny part, that is then set as background repeat so your site is no longer 20 megs per page, but rather 566k per page
