To get you started on web design have a look at many fine tutorials on the web. To code you can just use Notepad or something like, Chami's HTML-Kit

Thumbs up change ur Color Combination
change ur Color combination and try to use this combination with gradient effect, from left to right. (#7DA92C, #D9E0A7). Also reduce the height of the top bar.
