Popup Menu Layers

hi, i want to set up a Popup Menu Layers , i learned from http://www.dyn-web.com/dhtml/menu-layers/, after I download the code dw_viewport.js and use the source code by "view source " and save it as an example.html file and upload both dw_viewport.js and example.html to my websever, it does not work.

Please help, how to make these code work?
