Problems with javascript menu's
Hi all,
I'm new to the site, but I hope I can contribute quite a bit of knowledge as well as get a little help.
I am redesigning a companies intranet, and they have asked for interactive menu's that change colour when selected. This was a bit of a challenge but I have it working, however I have now created a problem I cant seem to solve.
I have nested the menu in the left hand column of a table, and in the right hand column the information is to be displayed, however when the menu expands, it shifts the text in the right hand column... even with the column widths set to absolute values And even though the shift is minimal, the IT manager says it's unacceptable I've tried everything to get it to stop.
Left me a bit stumped, so if anyone has any ideas on how to solve this, please let me know.
Many thanks
Adam
