RSS Newsfeed on a website?

I'm currently working a new website and was curious as to whether or not it is possible to add an RSS feed to it. For example, I have several contacts that maintain their own websites with fairly regular updates which also have XML formatting for RSS newsfeeder progams. I would like to be able to show on my site, via their RSS feeds, when their last udpates were, and perhaps a topic sentence or two, similar in style to a traditional feedreader. Any suggestions?

There are a couple of script sites that have ASP RSS Readers. I found a good one but I don't remember where I found it. Try to Google it.
