thesis proposal HELP

hi guys!

this isnt really a problem but for me it is, can anyone tell me where could i find some fresh start on making a good site about appliances? this is what im proposing on my thesis project.

i just started reading this book (SYSTEM ANALYSIS & DESIGN), i know this helps but not quite sure if its the best start.

a start on graphic design would be best (i thingk) and i would count on you guys about the coding , is that a good start? i mean the design?

im taking this thesis next year and i just want to prepare for it a year from now.

more power to all and tnks to welwonk and shadow wizard on replying to my post (CANT BLUR A FORM HELP!)

Any good design has to start with collation of information. You need to research requirements for the site before thinking about graphical, database or code design. With a conceptual site you should probably start by researching current similar sites to get an idea of content, functionality, design, etc. Take notes on what works and what doesn't, then think about what you would need/like to include on your site. Then broaden the scope of research and look at related sites in another field.
This way you can get a good framework for what the site will consist of as far as content and functionality go. Then you can start thinking about the graphic design, drafting template pages for each of the stages of movement through the site.
Finally you can get into the database/code design elements.

I agree totally with Lafinboy. I'm developing my thesis topic right now also and I can tell you that you'll want to handle any/all coding yourself. You have to know what's going into your thesis so that when you have to defend your research in front of faculty, you won't have to say "I don't know why that doesn't happen" as often as you might otherwise.

What are some more specifics about your topic? I'm interested.

shamrog12 how do you do!

my thesis will be an e-commerse site, and faculty members just want simple feature anyways(not that simple as what they want to see first hand) will be credit card validation and about this shipping records were in customers can see where there product at now.

just like what lafinboy said i have to start first at some concepts before this coding and hope you could help when that time comes
