Web Layout in Photoshop

I just finished designing my own personal web page for my music business and I’m currently trying to find a way to get the site launched. I have been told I have to use the Slice tool to separate the images and I’m unsure of how to do that. If you know someone that can code the site for me it would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome Microwave,

I assume your using Photoshop in designing your pages, anyways, open the document. (ImageReady has a slice tool as well if you like to use it.)

-In your Toolbox select the Slice tool.
-Drag then release the Slice tool in your document to create a square slice until you have the image sliced as you wish.
-Next is to select the Slice Select tool on the toolbox and drag the corner of the previous selected slice and modify as you wish.
-Continue using the Slice Select to select more side nodes if you like to add another slice.
-Choose Save Optimized As in File menu. Click Format then select HTML And Images.
-Click the Slices list and choose All Slices then Save.
