Hey there,
Annaharis has given amazing and simple ways to keep your website professional. I also want to add some points like:
With all the points mentioned don't forget to keep your website user friendly and up to date with time.
Give it a theme which suits it like for the furniture website you can have background image with the wooden picture or you can have any furniture.

I have visit your images site. Its look professional. But I think you should improve some area, such as your header site. You can change your background color until you get the matching with another area.
