Allowing ASP on Windows 2000 server
Ok, Im not reallly sure what's going on, I'm a web designer and really don't ever mess with servers and such, but the server admin here at my church has no idea how toi get the site I made going. He told me that ASP worked on the server (locally hosted here) but it turns outr that it won't. I can get some asp pages to load, but other won't. the ones with mainly html will load, but those with mainly asp code will not. instead they show as the raw code itself, and that is only when i load them locally in internet explorer, when I try to access them from the web I get a page cannot be displayerd error.
So my question is how can I get it running. I see that asp.net is installed, im not sure if there is any differenece with asp and asp.net (i usually work in a unix enviroment =/)
If we get that fixed my other question is, how do I choose a default page to be the index? I won't the server to call index.asp rahter than the file they have right now. Please help, its appreciated!!
