Automatic stand by + wake up
Hi
I would like my server (Windows xp ) to go into stand by at 11 pm and wake up at 10 am by it self.

Is there a program or a script language that would enable me to do this.

I know programming (PowerShell, bash, python.. )

There's really no programming needed. You can do this from the command line using powercfg.exe. All you need is a one line batch file set as a Scheduled Task.

Optionally, you can use the following command line:

%windir%\System32\rundll32.exe powrprof.dll,SetSuspendState
