Automatically switch from wireless to wired network

I have a laptop that I occasionaly use wired to my home network but most of the time is connected wireless. I am trying to find out how I can set up the laptop to automatically disable the wireless card when I am plug it to the wire and enable the wireless card once I unplug it. My work computer is set up to to this operation once I plug it to docking station and I would like to do the same with my home computer. I am running Windows XP Pro SP2. I wasn't sure where to post this and I hope I got it in the right place. I just spent 45 minutes on google and wasn't able to find anything. Thank you!!!!

Wireless AutoSwitch

I realize this post is very old, but there is a product that does exactly what you want. Check out Wireless AutoSwitch.

It is very inexpensive.
