Can't install donnet to run ASP
I tried to install the dotnet framework to run asp today and it said that it was already install so how can I remove it to continue with the installation?

you don't have to remove it.
in order to make it "recognize" ASP you have to run the iis register tool: c:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\aspnet_ regiis.exe -i if you can't find its exact location search for this on the server, and using Start-->Run execute it with the "-i" parameter to register the IIS with ASP.NET process.

What's your version of windows? You need IIS to run asp web pages.

DotNet is for running and debugging ASP.Net from the server/dev side and running DotNet Rich-Client apps.
Nothing to do with ASP3.0 at all.
