cannot shut down
im sure i have a virus...who knows what kind..i've got windows 2000 server...symantec wont sell me antivirus for my OS...now i cannot shut down computer...any ideas?? thanks tinman :>

Hi

You can go to the symantec site and manually download the Virus Definitions.
It is called the 'Intelligent Updater'. You save the file and then activate it and
it will update your definitions. However, I was involved with a virus that would block
me going to some of the links in www.symantec.com !

You could also try an online virus scan at http://housecall.trendmicro.com/hou.../start_corp.asp
