COM+ and DNS issue

Configuration
I have one client application on XP SP1, on domain1
I have a COM+ application on Windows Server 2003, on domain 2. domain 2 is a VLAN(done with a dell switch ). Client computer may see the server. some files may be copied without any authentification.

My IT has no put any security or user rights.

Issue
The connection fails with the message "access denied" on client side.
Evetn viewer signals that the kerberos client received a KRB_AP_ERR_MODIFIED

Server side
The even viewver signals that the security system detect an authentification error for the server DNS/name_of_the_client.

How to resolve this issue ?
My IT will put the server on the same domain but before this test I would like to know if there is a system parameter to solve this issue.

The same test done on two XP computers that belong to the same domain gives a correct result !
