Dedicated Server Processes
I am trying to troubleshoot software/network problem that is occurring at a client company.
What I need to do is to determine if it is our software that is causing the problem or it is their network.
Is there a way to dedicate a the server processor to a particular process?
If I could dedicate a process to just our software then I could tell if it is an error is occuring over their network or within our software itself.
This error is occuring intermittently and usually during a process running overnight which leads me to believe that it could be network based.
This company doesn't have an IT department so my information about there network/server configuration is limited, but I am assuming that the are runing Windows 2000 server with TCP/IP network protocal.
Any wisdom that you could share with me would be greatly apprecated.
