Unhappy desktop deployment v2 NEED help urgently!!pls help
Hi all...

i am new here and hope some1 could help me..

I'm nt sure if my topic fits in here.

I'm attached to a company and they have a system which is Business Desktop Deployment v2..

Unfortunately.. they do not know how to set this system up as the person who went for the couse resigned..i am still a student and i know nuts abt it..

they throw me a book and ask me to get the system running up..

i have a clean server a clean computer now.. but i do not know how and where to start.

i read but couldn't understand much of the content.

can some1 explain in a more simple manner? like what software n the things which i need to get the system up.. and what r the uses of the software..and how to start..

pls help me cos i wil faill my attachment if it dont get it up

The link above is to technet you can do the "VirtualLab" for Business Desktop Deployment
and it will walk you through a lab which allows you to better understand setting up and using Desktop Deployment

Umm if you're asking what type of OS you should be on, DD supports only Microsoft Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows Server 2003.

You will also need one server to host the tool

The minimum requirements are available for view
at the link posted above. The lab does not require you to install anything it may change a registry value but that should be it

hmm r there any tools to intro for installation to get the BDD up?
