DHCP for Windows server 2003
I have set up Windows 2003 on my pc to run as a Domain controller, DNS server, DHCP server and File server. I configured the IP for the client from 10.0.0.20 to 10.0.0.30. However, when i log on to my domain with my laptop, the IP assigned is not within the range. I m supposed to let my laptop get its IP automatically and not manually rite? It seems like the IP is assigned by my router n not my server.
Also, I realize everytime i open the DHCP manager on my server, the status of the DHCP is always not connected until i click on it once then it become running.
Anyone can help?
