Documents and Settings folder
Here's my situation:
I'm running XP. I created a partition on my hard drive. One is used for the operating system files, the other is going to be used for program files and storage. This way if something gets screwy with the OS, I can just reinstall it without worrying about all of my files. Since I want the other partition for storage, it would make sense to me to have the Documents and Settings folder on that partition. So does anyone know if there is a way to make the storage drive the default location for the Documents and Settings or am I just better off creating a new directory and manually changing the targets for all the My Documents folders? Thanks |

Find TweakUI on the microsoft website, this lets you change the My Documents folder location as well as a lot of other nice features.
