dot net versions

We currently have .net version 1.1.4322.573 on our servers.

I am getting some COM+ errors which lead me to believe that there is a memory leak that is .net related. Can anyone verify if there is a memory leak issue with that version on .net?

I have also noticed that .net 2.0 is out. The first question I got asked is "What does it break?". Fair question really. So, does anyone know?

Nah, it doesn't help much, but thanks anyway. I don't have access to the source code, and am unlikely to ever get it to know exactly what it does.

None that I could think of. The problem may be in the source code used and the methods used therein.
Can I ask why you'd never get to see the source code?

We never get to see the source code as we buy this particular software from a vendor - the specialise in a customised suite of programs for retail stores - they'd never let us see it.

I should mention that there are definate memory leakage issues with the version of .net that we have - we will be upgrading to .net 2.0, and there are some new versions of the software that we will be upgrading to over the next few weeks/months (before Christmas not the best time to screw around with a retail site!).
