Your Event 51, especially coupled with an Event 9, indicates a transfer problem, not a read/write problem.
Make sure the IDE cable is firmly connected and/or replace it. Try updating the firmware on your drive. If these two don't solve it, it indicates either a failing controller or a failing drive interface. The latter would require a drive replacement unless you have good soldering skills and a lot of patience .You can test the controller by simply moving the drive to the other IDE channel.

I tried what you suggested and It works till now Nilpo. I changed the place of serial ata port and the cable also cleaned the dust inside computer. Also removed mcaffee antivuris and couple of programs and reinstalled board driver.
What I would like to ask is despite of working smoothly I get the following error. Code:

Both of those errors also suggest a bad cable or controller.
Do you have any internal or external devices such as HD's or card readers? Moving the drive would have ruled out the controller. Since it has helped, or at least changed what's happening, this is beginning to sound like a hardware conflict. |

hi again Nilpo,
after what you suggested, I was able to replace my harddisk with new one after 2 weeks. I installed everything from the start again and changed the cable also. so far I have not had a problem or slow response from HDD. While I was checking EventViewer, I still get EventID 11 error for 43 times and EventID 5 for 3 times. I do not know whether I should ignore the error or not ? Code:

Changing drives should have eliminated any hardware conflicts. At this point it's beginning to sound like a failing controller.

Unfortunately, there is no way to repair a failing controller. You could add another controller and use that instead or simply replace the motherboard.
