Group Policy Configuration
Dear All,
I am wondering if it is possible to use VBScript (.vbs) in WindowsXP to configure the value of Group Policy. Right now, whenever a new computer is installed, I have to manually set up the group policy. It takes time and I need to memorize all the rules and configurations that has been configured in other computers.
The main objective is that whenever I install, setup and configure a new computer for users, all I need to do it add the script and it will run automatically as the Group Policy Logon Script. This script will customize all the appearance, access to settings, display properties, installation options, control panel and et cetera.
Please advice if this is the best solution to restrict the user from tampering the default settings of WindowsXP or there are better solutions. Thank you.
Regards,
Allan
