Help or I shot my self.
Hi guys I am having some problem my pc, I am trying to reformat it and for some reason the driver is not reading the Bootable XP CD, Which key I have to hit after restarting my computer that it can take me to boot menu so that I can boot it from CD I hope I have provided you with enough information please let me know if there is any other information you need to answer my question Thanks.

It is largely dependent on the machine you are using.
Try going into the BIOS of your computer at startup and changing the boot sequence to look at the optical drive before the hard drive. Are you sure the disc is readable, i.e. no scratches or other damage?

Try downloading oldbios.exe (direct download) which will create a bootable floppy disk that forces your BIOS to boot from CD even if it doesn't support it.
