Help with sound card
I have a Creative SoundBlaster Live! Digital sound card and when I installed it, everything was fine sound worked. Except that when I would move my mouse at all, the screen would lock up for a couple of secounds, and if I was listening to music, there would be a beeping with the lock up. And when I removed the card, everythings fine! My PC is a Windows XP Home Edition, running on Service Pack 1 and then when I removed the card, went to Service Pack 2. I have 3 PCI slots, 1 of them is my video card, a nVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420. The other slot is my cable internet slot, and the other slot was the sound card. Could this be a power problem? I read about the PCI latency or something like that, but I don't know how to do that can some one help? Please?
