Hosting + IIS problems

Ok I'm not good with server so here is my problems :

I have a website hosted by a compagny, but since my DB are on a local server I Host a part of my website on my personal server.

So I click a link and it send me on my personal server, connecting to DB and everything.

But I have two problems :

1- How can I find the IP of my server? The guys in charge of the server ( he dont know much about server too) told me the IP was 192.xxx.254.x , but it looks like a local IP no? I don't know much about IP so maybe I'm wrong.

So I used a site web to find my IP and it told me 66.110.xxx.xx
Does it look more like a real IP? I tried to connect to my web page from both of them and the first one I have to wait and after a min it tell me can't connact. The second one it doesn't wait and tell me can't connect too.

But maybe its because of my 2- problems.

2- I have a firewall running on linux but I don't know anything about it and a tech will come monday to configure it to let my web page link my personal server. But I don't know which IP is bloked.

Can somoene help me to find my IP or my problems :P?
