Unhappy I can not log on to use my computer, everybody please helps me.Thanks a lot...

I can't log on to Windows XP Home edition due to the following message ,on the welcome screen after i typed the passwrod and the pressed 'enter' button and then this logon message was coming up : "The system cannot log you on due to the following error:The parameter is incorrect. Please try again or consult your system administrator."

I recently installed some Microsoft recommended updates and after the required restart I'm now unable to log on. I don't remember what the updates were called.

Is there anybody knows how to fix the problem ,please help me.

I am sure your help will be really greatful for me.

i look forward to here from you soon.

Thanks in advance for any help you may have,

Johnson Nguyen.

A friend of mine had the same problem. Like you it was caused after installing some Microsoft updates......SP2 I believe. He had a HP computer, and the problem occurred because he hadn't kept any of the PC drivers up to date. However, he managed to login to his PC by choosing the "Last known good configuration" option during boot up.
