I Have 2 OS. Win2008 Server and Win Vista

I started to learn for my MCSE exam and i have a question
I installed server 2008 1st, then vista 2nd.
After a while i had to reinstall 2008server and i realized my vista is not working anymore, so i reinstalled that also. Now i have to install a windows 2008server core and before i do that i need to ask: will my windows vista will be affected of the core installation? like it happen when i reinstalled the windows 2008 server?
