IE 6 freezes...
Can someone give me an idea, why my IE6 freezes after i try to close it, when i play a online game that requires the use of Machromedia flash and ActiveX ? I get the message: "| EXPLORE caused an invalid page in module MFC42.DLL ...".
I dont think though that its a IE6 problem, because this happens even with other browsers . I m trying to find the solution to this problem for months now, and i havent been able to. Any suggestions? |

What windows OS?
Things I would do: 1. Run Spybot Search & Destroy scan, make sure you update the definitions before you scan. 2. If it is Windows 2000 or better, run: sfc /scannow You'll need the Windows Disk in order to do this. |

Try running "Windows Update" if you've haven't done it in a while. A lot patches and stuff have been released for the browser.

Quote:
if it happens with other browsers as well, e.g. FireFox it's probably bug in the Flash code itself, nothing you can do about it apart of informing those who wrote the game and checking if other people suffer from the same problem. |
