INstall Win 2000 Server
Hello!
I have an Win XP on my computer. i want to install also win 2000 server on my computer on other partition. Is it impossible to do that without format the XP installation? and if Yes, what are the exact operations i would do?? Thanks! ![]() |

You should be able to, but it's better to install W2K first and XP second. When you install W2K second, the opening boot process and splash screen reverts to the W2K style replacing the XP style, however the one time I did this there were no other problems that I had dual booting to either OS.

Of course, you will only be able to run either one or the other OS at any particular time...

Another Problem about the installation

Authentic W2K cd's are bootable. You can also make a boot floppy set from the cd.
