Installing WXP x64 to a Vista laptop

Hi Windows Gurus,
I have bought a new Acer Aspire 5535 laptop having 64 bits CPU and Vista Home Premium. I would have liked to install a 64 bits WXP (a legal one) but in a while after booting from the XP CD it crashes to blue death, and it says windows found problems, run virus check etc. - the usual stuff.
I think the manufacturer made the machine to reject other OS installation because neither a Linux system CD could run it.
Any idea how to prepare such a machine to accept XP installation?
Thx.,

Got the answer Gurus, I was just walking around in BIOS Setup and accidentally found a setting that made the machine to accept XP installation.
