Internet Explorer Rrestrictions
I'm trying restrict access to the options and toolbars in internet explorer. I found a site that shows me how, but I only want it done on certain user accounts rather than all. Now the registry has HKEY_USERS, but I do not know how to tell which key is for which user. Does anybody have any ideas on what I can do?
Thanks |

The only easy way to do this is to use AD with Group Policy. Without this, it is difficult to apply restrictions only to certain users.

- Click 'Start'
- Click 'Run' - In the open field type 'gpedit.msc' - Click 'OK' - Expand 'User Configuration' - Expand 'Administrative Templates' - Expand 'Windows Components' - Expand 'Internet Explorer' There are a boat load of policies in there... Check it out..... "Mozilla Firefox - Best Browser Ever - Download it here" |
