Question MSI packages
Hi experts,

Just wanna find out what MSI packages are, how they function, what they can do and how they can be created. I've googled this up, but there's just too much info and some are a little bit unrelated.

Please help.

.msi files are windows installer files, i.e., setup programs. You usually create them with an installer application such as Installshield or the built-in net installers. There is an entire book on them in the msdn library.
