NAS with HP proliant dl 160 G5
I'm about to buy , for my small company (50 computers) a HP DL 160 proliant G5 with 4 300GB SAS disks and a RAID 5 controller ( optional) with Windows Server Standard edition 2003 R2, to make it work as a NAS .
Do you think it is suitable?? or should I had ti buy something more expensive ( the only negative point I find is that that server has no power supply redundancy).
Let me know your opinion
TIA
P.S.
(It's no use centralize the data...you will only create a single point of failure!!! In fact I spread the sharings through 3/4 servers!!!)
