Need help with spyware/virus problem !!

I have recently encountered this problem where everytime i press CTR / ALT / DELETE the task manager appears for a bout a millisecond and then dissapears again...

So i knew i had some kind of spyware or virus which was causing this and the other problems whivh i encountered was, many of my applications have been uninstalled !!

For example i got to open up MSN MEssenger and it tells me its re-installing it, then i open Microsoft Excel and it tells me its re-installing it, my EMULE has tottally dissapeared and i had to re-install it along with my Winamp ...

I have done many spyware scans and still cant seem to fix this problem can anyone help ???

NOTE: Just have a Pentium 4 PC 3.0 GhZ , using Windows XP service PAck 2

Try running nod32 antivirus scan
Then after running nod32.Try registry mechanic this should solve the problem

Hi KAZMAN, welcome to the forums. Have you got this sorted yet?

If not try the following procedure:

1) download HiJackThis http://www.majorgeeks.com/download3155.html - don't run it yet.
2) Download spybot search and destroy: http://www.safer-networking.org/ and run it
3) go to housecall.trendmicro.com and run the only scan there.

Then unzip HiJack this and run it, don't do anything else other than posting the log here at this point!! Then we can take a look for you!
