oddity with win server 2k3. Printer port changes...

hey all,

I am kinda new to this server 2k3 thingy but it has been setup so that one of the terminals can have a printer plugged into it and the software is installed on the server for it. But we change the port to the TS033 port as that is the terminals USB (virtual LTP) port but then if i log off the terminal and then back on the ts033 port that i have selected now says it is inactive and the Virtual LTP port has moved to TS034

any ideas?
