[FONT=Times New Roman]Hello, I do not know if I am doing this right but here goes. I am having problems with Outlook 2003. Ever since I converted over to OL/2003 when I try to send an e-mail out with an attachment to a group distribution list. The messages get delivered but the attachment is stripped off. Everybody sends back a reply, saying that they got the message but not the attachment. I never get any error message from my server or my provider that indicates that my attachments have been stripped? I hope you can help.

Using internet email I send attachments to group lists without problems. I'd be looking at something else stripping or blocking the attachment. For example, if you attach an .exe file the recipient's Outlook will pretty much ignore it. There is a list of blocked file types in the windows directory somewhere, you should be able to find where it is with help from google.

Yes, I know about the list of files that Outlook will not allow to pass. The attachement that we are trying to send is an excel spreadsheet and it does not contain any macros. We have been using the same e-mail server, and the same e-mail client for years. We noticed this problem whe we upgraded all of our workstations to Windows XP and Office 2003. Since then we have had this problem. I work at a Corporate Office where the Executives are always sending messages to the entire chain. That means that they are using extensively, these distribution list. I have not been able to isolate the cause & I was wondering if anyone else had this problem.
