![]() What steps have you taken over the last couple days in an attempt to diagnose your problem? You haven't posted enough information for me to attempt even an educated guess.

might this be an issue with the leases expiring? Either that, or an on idle event security setting. I'll have to get on our server tomorrow and do a little digging around.... I know I saw something about that somewhere before.... As for now, my work here is done!! Woohoo go home time!!! I will comment back tomorrow after I've checked some things on our server for you to also check on yours.

My question was what debug steps have you already done to diagnose the cause of your problem?

when it kicks you off the server, can you ping the server? Can you ping other computers? Are you using any routers? Firewalls? Switches/Hubs?

I kinda figured it was a timing issue (my initial thought was on leases, but there are a whole lot of other services with 2003 server) Given the fact that you can ping, means it is definitely a software issue, and as you have discovered, a timed setting in the active directory settings may have been the culprit. Regardless, good job on finding the problem...... when diagnosing server problems, I know it can be difficult at best. It's hard to diagnose other people's problems via the forums, as one never knows all of the diagnostics one has already went through.
