Question about dual boot xp and vista
Hi,
I have a machine with windows xp 32 bit version and vista 32 bit version dual booted. I am wondering is there a program out there thats free anyone knows of, to use to copy my dual boot drive to a new hard drive i got recently. I have tried some and used bcd to edit it but i still get some problems with repairing it. I was hoping maybe theres something out there that copies exactly my 2 partitions. i dont have to worry about using bcd etc to repair the copy. any help is appreciated thanks. |

the manufacturer of most hard drives include free utilities to do this. For Western Digital, it's called Data Lifeguard Utilities...... Best place to start would be your new hdd manufacturer's website, or list the new hard drive here.
