Read/write Registry Function For Underprivileged Win2k User
@ALL WINDOWS 2k OS TECHIES
i hav to deal widh a win2k box which has too many restrictions on it as i hav to sign in only as underpriveleged user!!! ![]() restrictions r too much like Task mangaer is disabled,,, no run prompt no registry edit function no control panel etc etc!! dat pc is just for doin some written (typing)work,,, signing on as a underpriveleged user!!! i need to get to the taskmanager !! but for doin dat i need redgistry editor as entry needed to be modified there!! i tried with software editin registry after trying insatllin them after too much problems as intallin software is alsoa problem on dat pc with too less permissions!! but when i tried to edit it said the registry is write protected!!! i feel caged!! plz help buddies!!!! |

Assuming the restrictions were put on your computer by your company, I doubt anyone here will have much interest in helping you crack your system. Check with your system administrator and make a case for allowing you elevated permissions.

I agree with Doug. If you're on an underprivileged account we have to assume it's for a reason.
