Registry Key Help

The program my company uses to load windows and common apps to computers had a flaw in the last several versions. Some of the USB drivers were not properly installed or not installed at all. To fix the problem we need to modify the registry key but don't know where. Anyonw know where the USB files are kept?
Thanks,
E

I don't think you want to try to fix device drivers by direct registry editing. Can't you use the device manager to uninstall the current bad drivers and then install the correct drivers?

i dont know what exactly you are tryign to achive but based on your veriosn of windows you might find something of interest in the following folders

on a windows Xp
c:\windows\system32\drivers

on windows 2000
c:\winnt\system32\drivers

Not sure what the path would be for a win9x but i presume its would be in the c:\windows\system\ folder..

<assuming all throughout that windows is installed to c:>
