Unhappy retrieving lost files

I seem to have had a virus which removed all saved jpegs, and I have no back up.
properties will show the location of the jpeg but it has 0 bytes.

I have removed the virus, and can now save jpegs.

would anybody know of any way I could retrieve these lost files
on Windows 98???

many thanks

If you haven't done too much on the computer, possibly an undelete program can get some of the files back. The more you use the computer the less likely it is you can recover anything. I don't have a program to recommend but there are many undelete programs out there.

Hello Seablue1,

You can try Restoration version 2.5.14. Once again, as Doug G said: "The more you use the computer the less likely it is you can recover anything". Good luck and hope you can get your files back!
