Run iis on xp home
is it possible to run iis on xp home edition? i saw a programmer post an entry with instruction on another website. but it's not detailed enough. hope someone can tell me how to configure step by step. thanks.

Its possible with some hack to run IIS on XP Home.
but its not advisable, if u still want.... try searching this forum, may b u find some links. And Welcome to the forum. |

If you do manage to get IIS running on XP Home please don't ask about it in the IIS forum. Get XP Pro you'll be much better off.

another option is use different web server, IIS is not alone.
for example, Visual Studio .NET come with its own web server as far as I heard. |
