Hi,
I am running Windows XP and have had a problem with shortcuts... since I installed SP2. Every shortcut I create (on the desktop or on the quicklaunch bar) simply opens the print box, i.e. if I create a shortcut (right-hand click) to a webpage, e.g. www.google.com.au and then drag it from the desktop to the quicklaunch bar, when I click on the shortcut, it doesn't open the URL in Internet Explorer. Instead, it opens up the box that gives me the option to print the page (www.google.com.au). Help? This is really bugging me. I have since uninstalled SP2 - which has made no difference. I may have made a change to a printer setting or something but I cannot remember... cheers and thanks DeanoT |

try installing Printer agan?
I ohnestly have no idea but you mentioned configuring a printer? It may be linked. Other than that all I could segest is contacting Microsoft. If you didn't exactly pay for your OS I'm not sure how you would go about it. If you get my hint
