Site content missing in browsers

Hey all

Had a little difficulty categorizing where this should go, this seemed most appropriate.

I client that I made a site for commented that although the site was fine on his work pc there were bits missing on his home pc. I thought this a little strange so logged in remotely last night and had a poke about. This is what I found:

Firstly the site navigation is achieved via a java applet, although the applet appears to load, when clicking on any links nothing happens in IE whilst it is ok in FF.

Secondly there are some images just completely missing from the page. For example this page (which is an include in the main page):

The actual code is:
Code:
<div align="center"><a href="http://www.pleaselooktwice.com/"><img src="/images/promotions/whatDoWeHaveToDoToGetNoticed/noticed.gif" alt="Look Twice For Motocycles" width="720" height="123" border="0" /></a></div>

But when I open it in either of his browsers the image is missing and if i look at the page source i can see that the img tag is completely missing:
Code:
<div align="center"><a href="http://www.pleaselooktwice.com/"></a></div>

I find this bizarre.

Any ideas on either issues will be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

I would suspect Internet Security/Firewall is stripping content.
