Stuck In Safe Mode
 Good morning. I'm having a problem, a big one. I have a Gateway pc, five years old with Windows XP Home Edition. The only way I can get online is Safe Mode w/networking, then under Administrator, then the Task Mgr takes me to Firefox. How do I fix this? I need step-by-step instructions please. Thankyou

what changes did you make to the machine prior to the issue you are describing? Install any software, make any reg changes?

Wow, sounds like you have some serious issues. I'm not understanding what you mean when you say the TaskMgr takes you to Firefox, though. Thats part has me a bit confused.
I'd say it's a good time to use the Gateway Recovery Disk and save yourself the headache, tbh.
