Who thinks they're good enough....
ok then. All i use my computer for is the internet and normally i switch it on and go get some food ready to browse about, so now getting more to the point... I hate waiting on Windows so I was told to lose the unnesscessary things (dont say a word on my spelling!) from msconfig. I went to run> msconfig and unchecked the ones i didnt need --when i came up with an even better way of saving my time, is there any way I can add something to the msconfig so as though when the computer boots it automatically dials up my default net connection?? Any help appreciated!

You could create an batch file which dials up to the Internet. The command you're looking for is rasdial, I think. (This needs XP I seem to remember.)

OK - I'll spoon feed you
![]() create a batch file called dialup.bat, with the following code in it: rasdial "Dial-Up Connection Name" username password Once you've created that, just create a shortcut to it in the startup folder on the Start Menu. |

Try adding Exit to the end of the batch file.
