window.showModalDialog very slow in WindowsXP SP2
Hello all,
I have the following problem.. I'm using window.showModalDialog. but the users that have Windows XP SP2 are getting a very slow reaction in opening the dialog. BTW - in SP1 it works perfect. any idea?! lin.

moved the thread to its proper location - this is OS issue with XP.
indeed, it's also hapenning to me - any window opened as window.showModalDialog in any web page cause the IE browser to freeze. probably it's one of the millions of bugs in the so called "Service" pack (aka Bug Pack) and I don't care as I use Firefox most of the time anyway.

answer? yes - this is bug in the SP2 probably, no fix as far as I know.
